Privacy and your data

What we store, for how long, how to ask for a copy or deletion.

We keep as little about you as an airline can, and for a set time. The full notice is on our privacy page; this article is the short version.

What we store

  • The contact details on your booking: the email address and the mobile number.
  • The passengers' names, and dates of birth where you gave them.
  • Travel document details, only for flights that need them (to or from London Gatwick and Edinburgh).
  • Your bookings, invoices, claims and support conversations, including conversations with the Northly Help chat.

What we do not store

Card numbers. Your card is held by our payment provider; we see only its brand and its last four digits. There is no account and no password, so there is none to store.

How long

  • Travel document details are deleted 30 days after the flight.
  • Booking data is kept 24 months after your last flight, then deleted.

How we protect it

A travel document number is shown back to you masked, with only the last three characters visible. Anything that changes how we reach you needs a one-time code sent to the email address or mobile number on the booking; see Changing your contact details.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or for it to be deleted. Write to support@flynorthly.com; a colleague handles every such request.

Contact us

Write to the Northly Help chat, when it is open on this site, email support@flynorthly.com or call +47 21 00 61 00. The chat answers at any hour, in English, Norwegian, Swedish or Danish. Colleagues are on duty 06:00 to 23:00 Oslo time, every day of the year.

Northly is a fictional airline created for product demonstrations.
