Invoices and VAT receipts
What is on them and how to add company details.
Every booking has an invoice from the moment it is paid, as a printable page you can save as a PDF.
What the invoice shows
- The passengers and the flights
- The fare, the bundle, every extra and the taxes, as separate lines
- An e-ticket number for each passenger, printed on the invoice only. You never need it to manage your booking.
- VAT, where it applies
VAT
Flights where both airports are in Norway carry 12 percent Norwegian VAT. It is included in the prices you pay, never added on top: each invoice line for the fare, the bundle, seats, bags and other extras shows the VAT inside its amount (12/112 of it). Government taxes and airport charges carry no VAT. Every other flight is zero-rated, so its VAT reads zero.
Adding company details
You can add or change a company name, address and VAT or organisation number up to 12 months after the last flight on the booking. We then issue a new invoice with a new number, and the old one is marked as replaced.
- Open the booking in Manage booking or ask in the chat.
- Give the company name, address and VAT or organisation number.
- Confirm with the one-time code we send to the email address or mobile number on the booking.
- Open the new invoice, or we email it to you.
A charge that looks wrong
If a payment appears twice on your statement, tell us and a colleague looks at it. Payment questions are always handled by a person.
