Bags, measured once

Everyone brings a personal item. Everything else has one size, one weight and one price, and it is cheaper online than at the airport.

What you can bring

  • Personal item

    40 x 30 x 20 cm · Fits under the seat

    Included for everyone

    A handbag, a small backpack or a laptop bag.

  • Cabin bag

    55 x 40 x 23 cm · 10 kg

    Included with Smart, Plus and Flex. On Light: NOK 199 (EUR 18)

    Comes with priority boarding, so there is room in the overhead bin.

  • Checked bag 20 kg

    Any size we can carry · 20 kg

    NOK 339 (EUR 30). One included with Plus

    Up to 3 checked bags per passenger.

  • Checked bag 23 kg

    Any size we can carry · 23 kg

    NOK 429 (EUR 38). One included with Flex

    No single bag over 32 kg.

  • Sports item

    Skis, golf bag, bicycle in a box, surfboard · 23 kg

    NOK 499 (EUR 45)

    Musical instruments are not sports items: a large one travels as a checked bag, in a hard case, at the checked bag price for its weight.

Buy online, not at the airport

Bags can be added online until 2 hours before departure. At the airport, every bag costs NOK 229 (EUR 20) on top of the online price, and each kilo over the allowance costs NOK 139 (EUR 12), up to 32 kg a bag.

Example: a 20 kg checked bag is NOK 339 online and NOK 568 at the airport (EUR 30 and EUR 50).

Babies, wheelchairs and things that go wrong

Baby items

Two items free with an infant or a child under 2: a stroller, a car seat or a travel cot. Travelling with children.

Mobility equipment

Your own wheelchair travels free. Tell us the type and the battery when you ask for assistance. Special assistance.

Delayed or damaged bag

Report it at the baggage desk before you leave the baggage hall. Already left? Within 24 hours of arrival, write to claims@flynorthly.com. Bags that go wrong.

Keep cash, jewellery and electronics in your cabin bag or personal item: our conditions of carriage exclude them from claims on checked bags. Keep medicine and travel documents with you too. Power banks and spare lithium batteries always travel in the cabin, never in a checked bag. What you can carry.
