Special assistance

Assistance is free, on every flight

Tell us at least 48 hours before departure so both airports are ready for you. Later requests are still accepted and we do what we can.

How to ask

  1. 1. Tell us what you need

In the Northly Help chat or by phone, with your booking reference and last name. No code is needed: adding assistance costs nothing.

  2. 2. We tell the airports

The request goes to the departure and arrival airports with a short note in your words. We say plainly whether it is inside the 48 hour notice period.

  3. 3. At the airport

Go to the assistance point or the check-in desk. The desk fee of NOK 399 (EUR 35) is waived for anyone with an assistance request.

What we can arrange

Each request carries a standard airline code, so every airport reads it the same way.

Good to know

  • Your own wheelchair or mobility aid travels free. Tell us the type and the battery. For a lithium battery, give the watt-hours.
  • Assistance dogs travel free in the cabin on every route. They are not pets and do not use a pet place.
  • Seats in row 1 and in an exit row are not given with an assistance request, because those seats are for passengers without assistance needs. If you had one, we move you and say why.
  • Medical oxygen and anything that needs a medical form is handled by a colleague, who will contact you. Ask early.
Assistance is a legal right under EU Regulation 1107/2006, and it is free everywhere we fly. If something did not work on the day, tell us: a colleague reads every one of those messages.
