Connecting flights
Northly flies point to point; each flight stands on its own.
Northly flies point to point. Every Northly flight goes direct from one airport to another, and each flight is sold and handled on its own. We do not sell connecting flights.
If you plan your own connection
You can book two flights to make a connection yourself, with Northly or with another airline. They are two separate flights, even on one booking, and each keeps its own rules:
- Its own check-in, bag drop and gate times. See At the airport.
- Its own change and cancellation rules. See Changing a flight.
- If a late first flight means you miss the next Northly flight, the next one is a missed flight. See Missed your flight.
Your rights for the late flight itself, care and compensation, are in If your flight is delayed. A missed connection brings no compensation of its own, because no connection was sold.
Bags are not checked through
A checked bag is never sent on to a second flight, with Northly or with any other airline. Collect it after the first flight, check in again and drop it again for the next one.
Leave enough time
Leave at least 3 hours between the scheduled arrival and the next departure at the same airport. That is time to collect a checked bag, check in, drop the bag again and pass security.
