Changing a flight

What a change costs

The change fee for your bundle, plus any difference in fare.

• More than 7 days before departure: NOK 449 (EUR 40) per passenger per flight
• 7 days or less before departure: NOK 689 (EUR 60) per passenger per flight
• Flex: no change fee. You pay only any fare difference.

The fare difference is the new Light fare minus the old one. If the new flight is cheaper, the difference is not refunded. Your bundle carries over at no charge. Changes made within 24 hours of booking are free of the change fee; the fare difference still applies.

The rules of a change

• A change is per passenger per flight. One passenger can change alone.
• A new route must start in the same country as the original flight.
• A seat you bought does not move automatically. On the new flight you get a seat of the same type free if one is available; if not, the seat fee is refunded as travel credit.
• A change makes your boarding pass invalid. A new one is free.

How to change

1. 1Open the booking in Manage booking or ask in the chat.
2. 2Choose the flight to change and look at flights up to 7 days either side.
3. 3Read the quote: change fee, fare difference and total. It holds for 15 minutes.
4. 4Confirm with the one-time code we send to the email address or mobile number on the booking.

After the cut-off

Once the change window has closed, the flight can no longer be changed. If you miss it, you can rebook at the airport desk; see Missed your flight. The taxes on a flight you do not fly can still be refunded; see Cancelling later.

Bookings of 10 or more passengers are changed by our groups desk at groups@flynorthly.com.
