When it opens

• Smart, Plus and Flex: 30 days before departure.
• Light with a seat you bought: 30 days before departure.
• Light without a seat: 48 hours before departure.

The reason

On Light without a seat, we allocate your seat at check-in. Opening 48 hours before lets us seat families together first and fill the cabin evenly. If you chose a seat, there is nothing to allocate, so you can check in earlier.

How to check in

1. 1Open the booking in Manage booking, on our check-in page or in the chat, with your booking reference and a last name.
2. 2Choose the passengers to check in.
3. 3Your boarding pass is ready at once. See Your boarding pass.

Flights to and from the UK

On flights to or from London Gatwick and Edinburgh, we need passport or identity card details before you can check in online. See Travel documents for UK flights.

Checking in at the airport

Checking in at the airport desk costs NOK 399 (EUR 35) per passenger per flight. It is free on Flex, for passengers with a special assistance request, and when online check-in was blocked by a document check.

If check-in has closed

After 2 hours before departure, check-in is closed online and at the desk. See Missed your flight.
