About Stockholm

Stockholm is built on fourteen islands where Lake Malaren meets the Baltic. Gamla stan, the old town, is a few narrow streets around the Royal Palace, and City Hall stands on the water across from it, with three gold crowns on its tower.

Ferries run all year between the city islands and out into the archipelago. The museums on Djurgarden, among them the Vasa, a warship raised from the harbour, are a short boat ride from the centre.

At Stockholm Arlanda

Terminal and gate

Northly flies from Terminal 5 at Stockholm Arlanda. Stockholm is a Northly base, and fast track is sold here. The gate is published 3 hours before departure, on the screens and in the booking.

To and from the city

Arlanda is about 40 km north of the city. The airport express train takes about 20 minutes to Stockholm Central Station; buses take longer. Times are a rough guide; check the local operator for timetables and prices.

Inside Schengen
