About Gothenburg
Gothenburg is Sweden’s main port, on the river Gota alv where it meets the Kattegat. The harbour is part of the centre: the four-masted barque Viking is moored by the red and white Lilla Bommen tower, and the gantry cranes of the shipyards stand across the water.
Trams run everywhere, and the archipelago to the south is reached by tram and ferry with the same travel card. The Haga quarter keeps its wooden houses and cafes.

Terminal and gate
Northly uses the airport’s one passenger building; the boarding pass shows the gate only. The gate is published 3 hours before departure, on the screens and in the booking.
To and from the city
Gothenburg Landvetter is about 25 km east of the city. The airport coach takes about 30 minutes to the centre. Times are a rough guide; check the local operator for timetables and prices.
Inside Schengen
Flights between Schengen airports have no passport control, and Northly collects no document details before travel. Carry the identity document the countries on your trip ask for. Check-in and documents
