Schedule changes

Minor, significant and major changes, and what you can do.

Sometimes we move a flight before the day of travel. How much it moves decides what you can do.

Minor: under 60 minutes

We tell you. Nothing else is needed.

Significant: 60 to 179 minutes

Keep the new time, or move free to another Northly flight on the same route within 3 days either way.

Major: 180 minutes or more

A move of 3 hours or more, a different airport, or a flight number that no longer exists. You have every option we give after a cancellation:

  • keep the new flight
  • move free to the same route within 7 days either way
  • move free to a nearby airport pair
  • a refund of the unused flights within 7 days
  • travel credit for 110 percent of the unused value

How long you have to answer

You have 7 days from our notice, or until 24 hours before departure if that is sooner. If we have not heard from you by then, the new flight is accepted for you.

How to answer

  1. Open the booking in Manage booking or ask in the chat. The change, its class and your deadline are shown.
  2. Choose to keep it or one of the options above.
  3. Confirm with the one-time code we send to the email address or mobile number on the booking.

A schedule change told to you close to departure can also bring compensation; see Compensation under EU261.
