Cancelling later
What is refundable after the 24-hour window, including taxes.
After the 24-hour window, Light, Smart and Plus fares are not refundable. The government taxes and airport charges are, and Flex cancels to travel credit.
Taxes on any flight you do not fly
The taxes we collect for each departure are refunded for any flight you do not fly, whether you cancel ahead or simply do not show up. The taxes are NOK 199 (EUR 18) from a Norwegian airport, NOK 329 (EUR 29) from London Gatwick or Edinburgh, and NOK 249 (EUR 22) from every other airport.
- We deduct an admin fee of NOK 169 (EUR 15) per passenger per flight.
- Claim within 30 days after the scheduled departure.
- If the taxes are lower than the admin fee, nothing is paid.
- We pay taxes refunds within 30 days of the request.
Flex
A Flex booking cancels to travel credit for 100 percent of what you paid, until 3 hours before departure. Credit is valid 12 months. After that point, the taxes rule above applies.
Extras
Seats, bags, meals and other extras follow the flight. They are cancelled with it and are not refunded on their own.
Death or serious illness
If someone in your close family has died or is seriously ill, write to us with a document. A colleague decides these cases personally.
How to cancel or claim the taxes
- Open the booking in Manage booking or ask in the chat.
- We show what you would get back and the deadline before you decide.
- Confirm with the one-time code we send to the email address or mobile number on the booking.
A refund to a different card than the one you paid with is handled by a colleague.
