Checked bags

Weights, prices and limits.

Checked bags go in the hold and are dropped at the bag drop before security.

Prices online

Per bag per flight, bought until 2 hours before departure:

  • Up to 20 kg: NOK 339 (EUR 30)
  • Up to 23 kg: NOK 429 (EUR 38)

Plus includes one 20 kg bag per passenger and Flex one 23 kg bag.

Limits

  • Up to 3 checked bags per passenger.
  • No single bag over 32 kg. A bag heavier than its allowance costs NOK 139 (EUR 12) per kilo at the airport, up to 32 kg.
  • Two baby items (a stroller, a car seat or a travel cot) are free with an infant or a child under 2.

What not to pack in a checked bag

Keep jewellery, cash and electronics in your cabin luggage. Our conditions of carriage exclude them from claims on checked bags. Medicine and travel documents belong in your cabin luggage too.

Bag drop

Bag drop closes 45 minutes before departure. Leave enough time for the queue.

How to add a bag

  1. Open the booking in Manage booking or ask in the chat.
  2. Choose the weight, the passengers and the flights.
  3. Confirm the price with the one-time code we send to the email address or mobile number on the booking.

The quote shows the airport price next to the online price, so you see what buying now saves. At the airport every bag costs NOK 229 (EUR 20) more; see Buying bags at the airport.
