About Amsterdam

Amsterdam is a city of canals in rings around the old centre, lined with narrow gabled houses and crossed by hundreds of bridges. The Westerkerk tower stands over the Jordaan quarter, and the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum sit side by side on the Museumplein.

At Amsterdam Schiphol

Terminal and gate

Northly uses the airport’s one passenger building; the boarding pass shows the gate only. The gate is published 3 hours before departure, on the screens and in the booking.

To and from the city

Schiphol is about 15 km southwest of the centre. Trains to Amsterdam Centraal take about 15 to 20 minutes. Times are a rough guide; check the local operator for timetables and prices.

Inside Schengen

Flights between Schengen airports have no passport control, and Northly collects no document details before travel. Carry the identity document the countries on your trip ask for. Check-in and documents
