About Reykjavik

Reykjavik is a small capital on a wide bay, with Mount Esja across the water. The concrete tower of Hallgrimskirkja stands over the colourful houses of the centre, and the Harpa concert hall sits on the harbour.

Most visitors use the city as a base for the Reykjanes peninsula and the Golden Circle: geothermal pools, waterfalls and lava fields within a few hours. The weather changes fast, so check the road conditions before driving.

Terminal and gate

Northly uses the airport’s one passenger building; the boarding pass shows the gate only. The gate is published 3 hours before departure, on the screens and in the booking.

To and from the city

Keflavik is about 50 km from Reykjavik. The airport bus takes about 45 minutes to the city. Times are a rough guide; check the local operator for timetables and prices.

Inside Schengen

Flights between Schengen airports have no passport control, and Northly collects no document details before travel. Carry the identity document the countries on your trip ask for. Check-in and documents
