About Aalborg
Aalborg sits on the Limfjord in northern Jutland. The old town around the white Budolfi church keeps its timbered merchant houses, and the waterfront has been turned into a long promenade, with the Utzon Center at one end.
It is a calm, walkable city. The Lindholm Hoje Viking burial ground lies just across the fjord, and the North Sea beaches of Jutland are about an hour away.
