Delayed bag
The report, your reference from the confirmation email, and essentials while you wait.
If your bag is not on the belt, report it and we trace it and bring it to you.
Report it
Report it in one of two ways. Both give you a Property Irregularity Report reference, a PIR, such as OSLN340217.
- At the airport: at the baggage desk in the baggage hall, before you leave it.
- After you have left the airport: within 24 hours of arrival, write to claims@flynorthly.com, or tell the Northly Help chat, when it is open on this site. Give your booking reference (it is in your confirmation email), the flight and the bag tag number from the sticker you got at bag drop. A colleague makes the report and gives you the PIR.
Your PIR reference
Ten characters: the airport where the report was made, our airline code N3, then five digits. For example OSLN340217. On the phone, say it as the city, the airline and the digits: "Oslo, Northly, four, zero, two, one, seven". Keep it; it is how you and we follow the bag.
What happens next
- We trace the bag. Its status moves from tracing to located, in transit, out for delivery and delivered.
- We deliver it to your address, in a time slot we tell you. You can change the delivery address with us.
- You can follow it at any time; see Tracking your bag report.
Essentials while you wait
We reimburse what you need to buy, such as toiletries and a change of clothes, up to NOK 569 (EUR 50) per passenger per day, for up to 5 days, with receipts.
Claim deadline
Claim for a delayed bag within 21 days of receiving it. A bag not found within 21 days is declared lost; see Damaged or lost bag.
How to claim
- Ask in the chat with your PIR and your last name, or write to claims@flynorthly.com.
- Add what you bought and the receipts.
- Confirm with the one-time code we send to the email address or mobile number on the booking.
- You get a claim number starting with CL.
